	Jere DeBacker - A third-generation Colorado native whose family was instrumental in the settlement and development of the Boulder Valley, Jere DeBacker grew up on the family farm and ranch just east of Boulder. An appreciation for land and its uses runs deep in his heritage which stretches back to the arrival of the DeBackers in 1859. Part of his mother's family, the Butterfields, came to Denver in 1862, prior to establishing the Butterfield Overland Despatch, from the Missouri River to Denver in 1865. The Four Mile House in Denver was the last stage stop, just four miles from Denver City. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Jere holds a business degree in Marketing. A yen for adventure drew him to the WorId Campus Afloat program where he traveled the globe for three various semesters, studying and staffing onboard the Semester at Sea Voyages. As a hobby/business Jere restores antique player and reproducing pianos, and is also the president of the Rocky Mt. Chapter of the Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors' Association. (AMICA) Jere's Real Estate experience began with local investments in the Boulder area.
